What we collect, why, and how to make us stop. Last updated 4 August 2026.
What we collect
If you ask us to tell you when the card drops, we store the email address or mobile number you give us, whether you agreed to be emailed, whether you agreed to be texted, the exact wording you agreed to, the time you agreed, and the page you were on. We keep your IP address and browser string with it, which is how we can show later that the consent was really given.
That is the whole list. We do not ask for your name, your address, your date of birth or anything about your betting.
Why we keep it
To tell you when a card posts, and to tell you about what we build. Nothing else. When we start selling subscriptions we will use it to tell you about that too, which is what you are agreeing to below.
What we never do
We do not sell your details, rent them, or hand them to a sportsbook. If that ever changes we will ask you again first rather than quietly reinterpreting a permission you already gave.
The exact permissions
These are the words on the signup form, in full:
I agree to receive emails from Need A Birdie AI about the daily card and the model. I can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
I agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from Need A Birdie AI at the number provided, including when the card drops. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.
I am of legal age to view sports betting content where I live.
The two are separate on purpose. Agreeing to email does not agree you to texts, and agreeing to texts does not agree you to email. Neither is a condition of anything you buy.
How to stop it
Every email carries an unsubscribe link and it works immediately. Reply STOP to any text and the texts end. You can do one and keep the other. If you would rather we deleted your details entirely, email us and we will, rather than only marking you unsubscribed.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to stop. If you unsubscribe we keep the record of what you agreed to and when you left, because that record is the proof we did not message you without permission. If you ask for deletion we remove the row itself.
Where it lives
In our own database, readable only by our servers. The list is not public, is not reachable from this website, and no page on this site can display it.
One more thing
Nothing on this site is betting advice. Sports betting is regulated differently in every state, and whether you can bet, and whether you should, is yours to decide under the laws where you live.
